It’s been Β a month since my week-long, fun-filled adventure in the Philippines!
Looking back on it now, it’s quite amazing how much we were able to do in 7 days.
I want to thank most of you for following Team Australia (myself and Stef from A Modern Wayfarer) from Day 1 to Day 7, when we placed 3rd.

Time does fly when you’re having lots of fun.
Especially when you kick start day one flying off a trapeze in Manila!

And then “recover” for a bit by exploring the underground river of Puerto Princesa in Palawan. We also enjoyed a visit to Sheridan Organic Farm, had the freshest cleanest lunch, and fed ostriches too.

And then it was off to Cebu, where we won a dance challenge (yay!) and got to chill at the wonderful Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island.

And of course, one of the greatest joys of being in this trip was having regular access to the most luscious, sweetest (with just the right tang), most succulent mangoes in the entire world. Philippine Mangoes!

And then it was off to Davao, where I engaged in the craziest, most out-of-this-world kind of race.

Now that’s a bike ride where you won’t see me going “Look Ma, no hands!” at any point!
And our last stop was Boracay, the island where the sunsets alone are enough reasons to visit.

It’s definitely been a very meaningful week of exploring the Philippines, forging friendships, accomplishing physical challenges we never thought would be possible, and creating a life long worth of sunshine-y memories.

Philippine hospitality is really like no other. To best describe the feeling, imagine an entire population that have long waited for your arrival. You will really feel the enthusiasm, warmth and genuine happiness of Filipinos.
It’s been a month since the #CEBJuanderers challenge by Cebu Pacific, yet the warmth of the experienceΒ burn on like a special ray of sunshine in my hodgepodge of memories.
Well folks, I’ve got good news for you: It really IS more fun in the Philippines.
And here’s even better news:

We’re all about sharing the love and sunshine, so in partnership with Cebu Pacific, I am giving away

Oh I would so LOVE to go to the Philippines. Did I write a comment saying I’d wanted to get to Palawan since meeting so many lovely people from there when in Sabah as a backpacker. I went there a few times and did lots of scuba diving in my 20’s. People told me so much about the Philippines and about Palawan.
I’d go in the school holidays and take my kids and have AMAZING adventures… my blog readers would love it!!
