If you are planning an exciting vacation in the cold region of Canada, you may be wondering how you will be able to get around. While visiting the Canadian art museum and strolling through the iconic Botanical Gardens is an absolute must for European travellers, taking in the natural beauty of the Canadian landscape is often reason enough to vacation in Montreal and other incredible cities in Canada. European travellers who may already be aware of travelling methods in regions such as France may experience some difficulty when navigating public transport systems in other regions. You will be able to save quite a bit of travel money, although, you should expect lengthy waits at train stations while waiting for schedules.

Travelling by taxi is relatively affordable as you will often be able to negotiate your price. It is common courtesy to tip taxi cab drivers in the region and a gratuity of around 10 to 20% of your taxi fare, which you should work into your negotiants when hailing a cab.
