it’s a pleasure taking road trips in cairns–coming from someone who doesnt really enjoy long car drives. the sceneries are green and lush, not your usual brown (in ACT/NSW anyway). mountains on the west and the seaside on the east. the yin and yang are balanced in cairns. we went to port douglas, about 40 minutes north of cairs, and on another day went further inland, exploring the Tablelands and Atherton.
I have to say though, that i was abit disappointed with Tablelands and Atherton. If we were in Europe and doing the same amount of driving, we would have been in a different country already. What did we see though?

…but we didn’t really have to drive THAT far to see just those, right?
