I did say that one of my travel resolutions this year is to explore Australia more.
So I wrote this blog post back in March. A very detailed (and some may even say bizarre) dream of what I would like to do: Visit Perth, a city located All the other way at the far west end of the country.
And what was it that I quoted Lupita Nyongo back then? “Your dreams are valid.”
Pan Pacific Perth is making this dream valid, and are flying us out tomorrow to Perth for the long weekend!

It will be my first time to WA (Western Australia) and I couldn’t be more excited.

As we will be there only for the long weekend, we need a really central location, and one that is best to pamper our activity-laden selves. I hear Pan Pacific Perth is just the place for that.
And as always , this trip will be a signature Holy Smithereens style of adventure and luxury. I’ve never been this excited for a 6-hour flight 😉
Main highlights of this trip:

I reckon “High” will be the theme of my weekend in Perth as the 2 highlights are an afternoon high tea in Pan Pacific Perth, and jumping off from the skies high above in Perth. This is, after all, the best way to see a city right? 🙂
I will try to squeeze in other exciting shenanigans, (such as a selfie with a Quokka!) so do stay tuned!
I will be posting live updates on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. So be sure to follow and you can perhaps give me some real-time tips on what to do in Perth?

Man, I wish it was only a 6 hour flight for us. Unfortunately, we are looking at about 18 hours flight time otherwise we’d have been there long ago. Have a great time!
Hi Greg! Thank you, and i know what you mean. I also wish a whole lot of places were just under 6 hours from where we are! 😉
I’ve been to Perth a couple of times. I was younger then though and wanted to stay out late etc, but found it odd how early everything closed. After 8pm on a Fri/Sat it seemed like some parts had shut down and turned into ghost towns!
Its my first time to Perth tomorrow (ok in a few hours) 🙂 Yes I know what you mean about places shutting down early! I reckon 8pm is still good, I lived in Canberra when I 1st moved to Australia and geez, closing time (of shops) is 5-6pm? (6 is pushing it). I don’t miss that part at all 😉
That’s great that you made it happen! Can’t wait to read more about the trip and your experience at Pan Pacific Perth.
Thanks Irene! Im currently writing about the adventures. We were able to do quite a number of activities considering we were only there for 2 days, whew! 🙂
Sadly I didn’t go to Western Australia on my trip over but everyone says I missed out! Oh well a good excuse to go back!
